Free Realms Game Pointers
Hey everyone, I'm a new kid-playzapper on the Playzap Games team. My name is Greg Seanson, and I have always been a game-obsessed person.
The first main goal of an mmorpg is to get the word out and advertise their game! What's a multiplayer game with out players! So, they try to get many people in to their game with sponsorships, advertisements and more. Once they've done this, they get major content updates, and then after, if their game turns out successful, then they just drop all the crap and move on! They forget about all their players, and rarely have content updates.
But, I'm not here to talk about that. I'm here to tell you a little bit about a popular game known as Free Realms! The company is a popular one, Sony Entertainment. The makers of great video products, and also laptops. And of course, many other things.
I wasn't that familiar with Sony before, but now I am.
So here are GAME POINTERS!
Pro (good) game pointers:
. Large community, never feels like a single player game
. Not entirely combat focused, so there's lots more to do than fighting people and monsters.
. A massive amount of quests available!

Is it Time Yet? A PLAYZAP GAMES SPECIAL!!!
Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow
The 3DS has finally reached it's big update, has it? Thousands of the buyers of this revolutionary 3D product have been gluing their eyes to their compute and 3DS all day! Doing just what? If you're a user of this, I bet you can guess! Our team owns several of these hot new products in the market... And we're gonna tell you just what's making everyone who's using the 3DS go, 'WOW!'
Well, earlier in April, Nintendo blogged about a new system update coming to their awesome product, the 3DS! At first, at launch in March, people noticed the 'Internet Browser' icon on their 3DS. They were unable to select the button, as they would get this message, 'The internet browser will be available in a later update. Visit support.nintendo.com for more information'. Or something like that.
Now, in April, Nintendo has promised the update to come exactly today! We users are hounding on this situation. Why? Because with the constant checking if the update is here, people are just wondering, 'Is it time yet!?' That's right! The folks using Nintendo product have been waiting for a long time now!
Nintendo promised the system update to release on June 6th (today, while we blog this), in the evening. The evening has actually passed... Basically. Isn't it night right now? 10:10 PM while I write this sentence. Anyways, people have been waiting all day for this 'evening' update.
Now, for the moment you've all been waiting for! Nintendo's BIGGEST system update for the 3DS has just launched, minutes ago! AHHHHH! Woo! To be exact, I am actually updating my 3DS as I blog this! The temptations couldn't be resisted! The update takes a couple of minutes, but, isn't it worth it? To pass time, I'm blogging about it on Playzap Games!
Well, what are you waiting for reading this blog post? You can be updating your 3DS system right now for the biggest update ever! Leave a comment on what you think! Oh my god! My update just finished! Time to see what this update baby can do! Let's say hello to all those new features promised! Have fun with it! 3DS Serious Update!
The biggest update for the 3DS was promised in March. Yes, Nintendo, in March, promised they'd bring this humungous update for their new system, the 3DS, in May. So, in March, they said they'd pull up a big update for the 3DS, but the update would only come out in late May.
Am I clear now?
What time of the year is it NOW? Late May! That's right! Dave Sugokiwa, an expert with gaming, and a part of the Playzap Games team, got some bits and pieces of information. Not to spoil EVERYTHING, Dave has gave us only SOME of the information. Be grateful, though!
He says, "Even though they promised us the 3DS update to come out in late May, and it didn't, they still have some ups to this. What the buyers wanted was the E-Shop and Internet Browser, and no, barely anyone cared about anything else."
But that wasn't the information. So after Dave got some information off his research experiment, he shared some with us. We asked Dave.
"Can you share some of the important release date information, or just anything you found about the 3DS, with us today, Dave?"
Dave agreed, and has shared.
"Well, I am 100% sure that the update will not be here by May 31st. To be exact, it's coming in early June. Want me to be more exact there? The exact date is June 6th, 2011. The time is not yet confirmed, but we do have the time of the day. Evening. So, be sure to check up with that!"
"So, Dave, did you think the previous update for the system pleased the buyers?"
"Not at all. The last system update was a fail basically. Just a dumb music video, and something else. We don't care at all. The only update that the buyers, counting me, are looking for, is the E-Shop and Internet Browser update."
"Well, since you don't want to spoil the surprise, can you just tell us ONE more thing from your research?"
"I guess, but this is the last thing. Many people are wanting to trade their DSI and DS games in so they can buy new 3DS games. Sometimes people want to keep their old games, but they REALLY want the new games. That's another thing in the update, shockingly! It's called 'DSware' and 'DSIware'. We can save our old games on to our new system! Then we can trade them in, and still have them! That's great!"

NINTENDOGS+CATS: Secrets to Winning!
Does anyone play Nintendogs+Cats and is struggling to win the Master Cup (also works for other cup versions but disc only) in disc competition? Well, we have a way that might just ease that stress. Our Playzap Games testers did an amazing job of finding cheats, secrets, tips, and much more for this game! We have money secrets on the site, so be sure to check them out! There's also a review! Well, you can start off with a nice game of a disc competition. All the dogs are set to 0. 0. And 0. THEN 3...2...1... GO! Instead of throwing the disc at the first moment you can, wave it in the air to make sure your dog turns the way you're throwing the disc and is ready. Then throw the disc towards the corner! The disc is more likely to go farther.
Waving it in the air makes sure you have the dog's attention. It's really annoying when they just sit down and after seconds they realize the disc is in the air, and run for it... Obviously, they miss it unless it's not THAT far away and their speedy enough to run to that goal area.

Nintendogs+Cats MAKE EASY MONEY!
Has anyone ever wanted to earn lots more cash than what they give you on the new 3DS release, Nintendogs+Cats? Well, you can enter up to 6 competitions per day (2 of each), and you still can't make enough money to buy the toys, clothes, puppies, or kittens you want! Our Playzap Games reviewers also felt that way after completing all 6 competitions in their first test.
Well, don't be frustrated about that! Yes, you can do a competition tomorrow. But, our reviewing team found an easier way to earn cash, that you can do ALL day. How many walks can you take your dog our for? Well, we don't exactly know. But, if you can take them on unlimited walks, then you can earn as much cash as you feel!
As long as you have a little cash to buy the dog that you're taking on the walk's food and water, you can do this easily. Just go on a walk, hunt for those presents. Think you know what I'm gonna say?
Well, I know you might think I would tell you to go to Mr. Recycle and sell the items. But actually, that's not what I had in store for you!
THIS is what I have to tell you. Look at all the cool items you can make from Mr. Recycle! With those stupid pieces of junk you find on the streets WRAPPED UP, you can trade them in for marvelous toys and decorations. You can, of course, keep the toy that you make, but, make the thing with the least amount of junk needed. Then, you can sell that item to Mr. Recycle! Or, simply, just sell the junk you find. But, I think if you make the items from him, they will be worth much more!

Nintendogs+Cats Review: Playzap Games
As much as customers rampage the stores just to buy the cutesy doggy game, there are ups and downs to this game.
In 2005, Nintendo launched its first pet sim for the original DS and DS lite. The game was a complete success! But, after a longer while of gameplay, the player of the Nintendogs version usually got to a boredom stage. Many still purchase the original game, but there's a whole new dimension. And that is the power of 3D!
Finally, in 2011, Nintendo released the second pet-sim stage. The 3DS' very own Nintendogs. All the many, it's new title obviously exposes a new feature. Yes, yes, folks. Cats. Nintendogs+Cats.
With the launch of 3 fun new versions, what's new? That's where we come in to tell you. Don't buy before you know about the game, as it may not even appeal to you!
Well, of course, you start out as a sweet person looking to find a puppy. That's why you head on over to the kennel to adopt the cutest pup you see! Learn their gender, attitudes, cost, and more. Then, once you have chose a cute puppy that suits you expectations, you can take your new friend home! Yay!
When you arrive at home, your puppy will be waiting there. After some little fun where you tickle it's tummy, pet it all over, and all, you'll get the chance to name the cute little one. So, get ready to choose your pup's name! IT CANNOT be changed. The puppies are even cuter in this dimension!
Most viewers find the cats a disgrace in the game. The cats, like real ones, sit at your home and eat, eat, eat. They scratch the cat posts and do what a normal cat does. Yes, they refuse to play with your puppy. Poor pup! Of course, neither can you walk the kitty cat. Most of the benefits of the puppies aren't with you kitty. Just keep that in mind. I'll tell you one thing, the cat being unable to do almost anything made be dislike this game just a small bit.
Yes, there is more new stuff. And picking your puppy is only a bit new because the puppies, like I said, are SO much more cute. But what I didn't mention is that they are so much more realistic now!
Walking your pup is fun, and there is also a pedometer! Every step you take counts for your dog! Also, meet your friends' dogs with Streetpass! Oh, and did I tell you that you can pick up gifts on your walk like before? Yes, you can still do that. But now, most of the stuff is stupid junk like tires! Who wraps up a TIRE!?
I'll tell you one thing, though. All that junk you find doesn't have to go to waste. Yes, you can throw it to your puppy so he\she can play with it. But, a new feature is to talk to Mr. Recycle! Give him your junky toys and he can give you cool toys for your puppy! Ones that they will adore rather than a stupid tire or stick!
Let me quickly state a couple more features, because I have to give you my rating for this all-cutie cutie game! So:
There is a new way to play the obedience trial! You can use your AR cards (included with 3DS) to play the contest!
Go to the Cat Cafe' to let your pets munch on treats and meet some new doggies and maybe kitties.
There is the all new Rare Shop, only found on walks, that you purchase rare items from!
Bring your puppies to life in YOUR REAL house using the '?' AR card and your Nintendo 3DS camera. The cute ones can come to life size if you have a HUGE AR card. If you have the small one, you can still bring it to life! It's adorable!
There are many more new things, but let me rate it.

There was barely anything wrong with this game, although, I do say if you've tried an old version of Nintendogs, this won't exactly feel like it's completely new. Yes, there are many new features, though. If this is a new game to you, then you might have more hours of fun compared to a pre-user. But, pre-users of this game will still enjoy all the old benefits, new benefits, AND THE CUTE NEW DOGGIES!

But, after a longer while of gameplay, the player of the Nintendogs version usually got to a boredom stage. Many still purchase the original game, but there's a whole new dimension. De Blob! Wii Review by Playzap Games! (Shorter Review)
The Wii was released a while ago, and so was this game. De Blob 2 just released, but here is a review of the first version of the game. While the second version has newer gaming, De Blob (first version) is the way to go for classic gaming in Chroma City (setting).
When you first set 'in' you are De Blob, a colorful blob. The Raydians have been turned to Graydians, and the city has turned black and white thanks to these inky little cops! There are some colorful NPCs for you to interact with. They will help you get through your game!
The NPCs will teach you all about the levels as you play. The nunchuck style gaming makes it easier to move than using just the Wii remote to play. So, that's a good thing. You set in Chroma City, where the paint is gone and you need to get it back! The loading signs are interactive, with a story going on, and the option for you to draw on it.
To restore the color, you hit the paint tanks and collect colors, even mix them to make new ones, and paint the city in red, yellow, orange, blue, purple, green or brown! Quests can get you more time. As you complete each area of the city, you unlock new levels, videos and paint party modes.
In paint party mode, you can play with all your friends in a colorful game! Play an inverted version of tag where everyone has to try to steal the color from the blob that has the color! The blob with the color has to try to paint the city as quickly as they can, and as much.
There are many other party mode games, and you can find them out and unlock them when you play the classic version of De Blob!

2: I've played games way better.
2.5: It's ALRIGHT. Needs more detail and more gameplay options.

4: Well, mediocre. Not so great.
4.5: Still a bit mediocre. Needs gameplay options.
5: So and so. Pretty okay.

Review: Combat of Giants Dinosaurs 3D!
The Nintendo 3DS is Nintendo's latest product in the markets. Usually after launch, devices do not offer a large amount of games to play. Unlike any other device, the 3DS offers large amounts of 3D games! Do not forget you can play your old DS, DS Lite, DSI, or DSI XL games! But do not forget that those cannot be played in 3D mode in any depth, it will not work even if you try.
But of course, the 3DS has many breathtaking 3D games available for purchase! The one we will be reviewing today is one of those deliciously fun dinosaur killing games! And that is a fun game, following it's older games, it's Combat of Giants Dinosaurs! But it's not Strike mode or just Dinosaur mode, it's 3D!!! Ubisoft has made it's way to one of those games. Many pre-teens are zooming to the local retailer to purchase this game! Dinosaurs beating each other up has always been an addiction in gaming. That's where Ubisoft has went in the past years. Except now, they can take it to the next level, 3D! As much as that, many new features have been added!
You start out in the home screen of the game. As you create a new profile, it will ask you to select your tribe. Predators, Defenders, Hunters, etc. But as you go, you will learn more about the game, as it shows story modes in areas. The first thing the story will tell you is about the Arkosaurs taking power. That is the storyline, as much as it is fun to beat up dinosaurs around for fun, or your friends' dinosaurs on Streetpass.
After you choose your tribe, you can choose your type. They may have stupid looking names, but you will be able to rename your dinosaur! So, make sure you only choose the TYPE of dinosaur, which is for example, the legend's T-Rex! They could have a stupid name for example like, Kuz. But then again, you will be able to change it with your own personalized name that YOU like.
Well, enough with that. The thing I love about it is after you've selected your dinosaur there's high customization options! They have primary color for your dinosaur, secondary colors for your dinosaur, and just color. Don't forget you can even choose a stripe design like flames. That's what the color does, it just colors the stripe you've selected. During gameplay you can unlock the rest of the colors, as the first you can select from is very limited.
Now let's get to the actual inside gaming! After pressing the start button, you are taken with your dinosaur to a prehistoric world where you'll gain gear, facts, colors, costumes, and maybe more! As you explore the first level of the game with your dinosaur, there are 4 other dinosaurs that you must battle. Battle them all, even the boss to go to the next level. It does get boring to do the same thing over and over again, but you can battle different types of them.
When you get bored of the same thing, you can always Streetpass battle with your friends! The experience is fun to see what moves your friends have. So if you're ever looking for some PVP with dinosaurs, this game can be the right one.
So as much as it's not turn-turn battle, it does tire you to keep on battling 4 dinosaurs and moving to the next level. Having friends with 3DSs is a very good thing, as you can use Streetpass for more fun with games, and this is one of them! Although that, each world is different, with new dinosaurs for you to battle. Some are harder!
The cool thing is that the worlds are completely different, and like I said before, there are many dinosaurs, and they're all different! You have to learn their weaknesses to defeat them easily, which is very fun to try new strategies. Some dinosaurs may be weakened to Frenzy Attacks (Rapid B after dodge) and some could be to pushing (A). One thing is alike depending on their class, their weaknesses. But some have more life.
Overall, there are scary parts. The 3D is nice, but I don't like looking at the dinosaurs ass in 3D! The noises can scare younger children, as there is more dramatic and wild music, and screeching and roaring from the dinosaurs! So, as the game says, 10 and up. Properly rated, which is great, so the kids know when it's not the right age for them.
